Do You Know How to Solve the Trouble in the Walk-in Constant Temperature and Humidity Chamber?

Have you ever encountered such a situation: when you use a large constant temperature and humidity chamber due to non-standard methods, the equipment will have various failures. When you encounter this situation, do you know how to solve it? This article will give you an example of common faults and solutions in the walk-in constant temperature and humidity chamber:


1. When the temperature and humidity controller of the walk-in constant temperature and humidity chamber shows the abnormal temperature


Checkout procedures: 


(1) Please check whether the over-temperature protector on the control panel is set at 150℃; 

(2) Please check whether the circulating motor in the machine room is damaged or not running;

(3) Please check whether the solid-state relay in the temperature part is burnt out and short circuit: if the heater is not burned out, please use the AC voltage range of the three-meter electric meter, the voltage range is opened up to 600 volts, and the red and black bars are respectively marked on both sides and set the temperature setting value of the temperature part to 0°C on the AC side of the solid-state relay of T. At this time, the indicator light of the temperature part of the solid-state relay will not light up. If the measured voltage value does not change, keep it below 10V, it means that the solid-state relay is burnt and presents a short circuit state. 


Solutions:


(1) If not, please turn the panel over-temperature protector to 150℃, or raise the use temperature by 30℃;

(2) Please notify the manufacturer's maintenance department to replace the circulating motor;

(3) Please replace the temperature part of the solid state relay (the solid state relay marked as T), or notify the manufacturer's maintenance department to come to repair.


2. When the temperature and humidity controller of the walk-in constant temperature and humidity chamber shows abnormal humidity


Checkout procedures:


(1) Please check whether the under-water over-temperature protector in the control room is set at 150℃;   

(2) Please check whether the pipeline is too dirty in the computer room, causing the water flow to be irregular;   

(3) Please check if there is water in the upper water tank, if there is no water, check if there is water in the lower water tank; 

(4) Please check whether the solid-state relay in the humidity part is burned out and short-circuited: if the heater is not burned out, please use the AC voltage range of the three-meter electric meter, the voltage range is opened to the position of 600 volts, and the red and black bars are respectively marked on both sides and set the humidity setting value of the humidity part to 0% on the AC side of the solid-state relay of H. At this time, the indicator light of the solid-state relay in the humidity part will not light up. If the measured voltage value does not change, maintain it below 10V, the solid-state relay is burnt out and presents a short circuit state. Or first set the humidity setting value to 0%, and then check whether the water in the humidifying bucket in the computer room is boiling


Solutions:


(1) If not, please turn the under-water over-temperature protector to 150℃;

(2) Please turn off the main power supply at the rear of the machine, and then open the drain valve under the humidification barrel to a position parallel to the pipeline. When the water with the water tank is all drained, use a wrench to open the humidification barrel and turn it on. The internal scale is removed due to long-term humidity, and then the silicone tube is removed, scrubbed in water, and after the maintenance is completed, follow the removal method and install it in the opposite direction. After the installation is completed, the drain valve under the humidification barrel needs to be closed to the pipe The road is in a vertical position, and then turn on the main power at the back of the machine; 

(3) There is no water in the upper and lower water tanks, please add water to the lower water tank to solve the problem. If there is no water in the upper water tank and there is water in the lower water tank, the water pump motor of the lower water tank is broken. Please notify the manufacturer's maintenance department to come for repair;

(4) Please replace the solid-state relay of the humidity part (the solid state relay marked with H), or notify the manufacturer's maintenance department to come to repair.


3. When the temperature and humidity controller of the walk-in constant temperature and humidity chamber shows abnormal pressure


Checkout procedures: 

 

(1) Please check the location of the equipment, whether it is more than 30 cm away from the wall; 

(2) Please check whether the surrounding space is a confined space.


Solutions:


(1) If not, please keep a position of more than 30 cm around the machine, because poor heat dissipation will cause excessive pressure on the high pressure side of the compressor;  

(2) If the surrounding is a confined space, it will cause a temperature rise in the environment, and also cause excessive pressure on the high pressure side of the compressor, so please keep the surrounding ventilated.


4. When the temperature and humidity controller of the walk-in constant temperature and humidity chamber shows abnormal conditions of the compressor


Checkout procedures:  


(1) Please check the location of the equipment, whether it is more than 30 cm away from the wall;   

(2) Please check whether the surrounding is a confined space.


Solutions:


(1) If not, please keep a position of more than 30 cm around the machine, because poor heat dissipation will cause the compressor operating current to rise, which will cause the overcurrent protector to operate;   

(2) If the surrounding is a confined space, it will cause temperature rise in the environment, and also cause the compressor operating current to rise, which will cause the over-current protector (heat accumulation relay) to operate. So please keep ventilating around;   

(3) After the above problems are solved, please install the overcurrent protector (heat accumulation relay) under the three electromagnetic switches in the machine room. Press the reset button down, and there is a click, which means that the controlled compressor is overloaded, but it is also reset at this time. At this time, please turn the current setting to 1.25 times the compressor rated current. 


5. When the temperature and humidity controller of the walk-in constant temperature and humidity chamber is running, the actual humidity value is always displayed at 100%.


Checkout procedures: 

 

(1) The air in the walk-in constant temperature and humidity chamber is very dry: First, check the sink part of the dry and wet bulb holder for water; Second, please check the dry and wet bulb holder inside the test box that whether the wet ball gauze hung on the wet ball sensor part is wet on the sensor part;  

(2) The air in the box is very humid (the humidity may not reach 100%, but it has been high): First set the humidity part to 0%, and then check whether the humidification bucket in the computer room is in a boiling state.


Solutions:


(1) The condition that the air in the box is very dry: First, if there is no water, please adjust the water level cup in the machine room, which is located above, or check whether the pipeline between the water level cup and the dry and wet ball fixing seat is blocked. After adjustment, please use a cloth to soak up the water to make sure that the water will keep going in. Second, if it is not wet, please replace the gauze. (It is recommended to replace the gauze once a month.) If the conditions of high temperature and humidity are often used, the number of replacements will be more. If only the temperature conditions are used, the gauze can be taken out to extend the service life. After taking it out, it can be soaked in alcohol to extend its lifespan.

(2) The air in the box is very humid (the humidity may not reach 100%, but it is always high): If it is boiling, please replace the solid state relay in the humidity part (the solid state relay marked with the wire number H), or notify the manufacturer's maintenance department to come to repair.
